N8 Salon @ March 16

 

N8 Salon is Museumn8's little sister. At March 16, N8 Salon hosts an event in Tassenmuseum Hendrikje (see below for the exact location) from 20.00-00.00 with music, lectures and movies. The night has been built up around the theme 'bags.'  The program looks pretty exciting I think, there will be lectures by i.e. Thuy Ngyuyen and O My Bag, performances of DJ Silvester (Daisy Age, NightFlight) and MC AllSincere. Stylist Aynouk Tan (who you might recognize from NRC Handelsblad where she writes about fashion) walks through the museum to get to know more about the bag you are carrying and there will be a movie about bags made by Carmen Felix from VICE Magazine. During the night you can do a workshop to learn how to make your own smartphone cover, there will be tours through the museum and you can have a drink at the museum cafe.
